Hunger Games Character Posters

Today The Hunger Games movie released 8 posters, each featuring a profile shot of a different character. They spread them accross a bunch of websites, but I've collected them all here, for your viewing pleasure.

Effie is my favorite, even her nostrils are pink. Also, I'm loving that Katniss is facing a different direction than everyone else.

Thoughts?

Extreme Sushi

Do you like sushi? I do
I really like my sushi served on a miniature wooden boat

Some people can't deal with eating raw fish and go for the cucumber roll. I think that's pussy. I just giggled at myself for typing that out loud. If you think you like sushi and you only eat cucumber and imitation crab meat then whatever. I can't wait any longer-this is the most frightening thing I've seen all day.

What you're looking at here is a full on dead squid that zombies out when you pour apparently evil soy sauce on it. #THATSHITAINTRIGHT

Soy sauce hasn't been so lethal since it made ROW get nine stitches in his toe. I suggest we all move underground and start a safer society there Hunger Games style before theses creepy squid bastards get too out of hand.

The Amazing Spiderman Official Trailer

Comic-Con is almost upon us so all sorts of projects hoping to appeal to the geeky masses are releasing footage. The Dark Knight Rises trailer played before Harry Potter. Hunger Games has a new poster. And now the official trailer for The Amazing Spiderman is online. The reboot has a new director, new actors and a darker vision, that is reported to include more practical effects as opposed to CG effects, which makes the last 30 seconds of the trailer a little unfortunate, as they look more like a videogame than the excellent and low-tech exploding cafe scene in Inception. But I have faith. Mostly because how can two talented, good looking, super human beings do wrong?

See for yourself:

What do you think?

ps. Ryan Gosling is willing to lift anyone over his head as long as they'll do their part in the lift. Even Al Roker.

First Look at Katniss

First of all, if you haven't read the Hunger Games Trilogy, get on it.  I gave my copy of the first book to BK eighteen months ago and I haven't seen it since because it's been handed off to at least 10 people since then, everyone loved it, and it's still being passes around..

Second, I'm nervous about the movie. But seeing this picture of Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss makes me a little less nervous.

Even though i always pictured our MC as Katniss, this chick is working it. Hopefully they can work a miracle on that Peeta wannabe and he'll look more like Hunter Parish.
